Account Strategist


The Rundown

Mission is looking for a driven individual who wants to work in a fast-paced, dynamic and creative environment. The Account Strategist will be involved in managing the day-to-day activities of client projects and contributing to overall planning and strategy. This includes proactive evaluation, recommendation, and implementation.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Utilize project management system daily to define and monitor project scope, goals, tasks, timelines and resources
  • Work with Account Directors, Project Managers and department directors to ensure that the project details are clear and defined
  • Monitor project progress and proactively address potential issues
  • Facilitate communication and information flow among internal project teams
  • Manage client website(s) including facilitating maintenance and updating content when necessary
  • Provide input on SEO, SEM and social media
  • Lead the review and testing of all work prior to delivery to the client
  • Assist with prioritizing projects on a weekly basis with account and project management teams and  department directors
  • Develop content strategy for email blasts and product launches
  • Communicate weekly with the client on project status updates
  • Provide administrative support to the marketing department
  • Other duties as assigned

Education & Experience

  • BA or BS in Marketing, Communications or related area preferred
  • 2-3 years of combined experience in related industry
  • Experience of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management
  • Knowledge of the general principles, best practices and tools of marketing
