For the players of the George Mason University basketball teams, every game is an opportunity to show their fans and opponents just who the United Nation of Mason is. For every game, the team at Mission got the same opportunity. To generate high-value, viral ROI and an extended reach, two modular landing pages (the student Platoon and the Ticketing site) were created. They allowed customizations to key imagery and callouts as the focus shifted between ticket sales, season passes, and mini-plans. Custom Facebook cover photos, Snapchat filters, Instagram posts, and targeted paid campaigns for every home game drove qualified (in addition to loyalty and pride) to those landing pages; sessions to the Tickets site increased +340% year-over-year. To top it all off, there's nothing quite as satisfying as seeing your custom-made hype video displayed on a jumbotron. 

• When compared with previous seasons, increases were seen across all attendance categories.

Significant increases were seen on both the tickets page (+63,000 sessions) & platoon page (+2,500 sessions).

• On the tickets page, 12% of sessions led to a click-through to Ticketmaster to complete a purchase.

George Mason University Athletics faced the challenge of reaching its target audience in the highly competitive DC and Northern Virginia area that is flooded with popular collegiate and professional sports franchises. To increase ticket and season pass sales, bolser attendance, and get people hyped about the upcoming season, George Mason University partnered with Mission to create a unifying brand identity that included dazzling and dynamic print assets promoting the 2017-2018 basketball season. We created mini and full-size schedules, mailers, posters, and programs featuring men's and women's team players, and key slogans for the school, like "Green and Gold," "United Nation of Mason," and "#GetPatriotic." Each asset was designed with an element of Hollywood-style that simply couldn't be ignored, from spot-glossing and die cut posters to a variable data printing on basketball envelopes.
